Sovereignty is an engineering problem

Regulation can decide where infrastructure lives; it takes software to make that infrastructure operate like a cloud. edgeContinuum is a University of Vigo spin-off building exactly that: a control plane that turns the datacenters and edge sites organizations already own into the cloud they are being asked to build.

From research to production

edgeContinuum began as cloud and edge-computing research at the University of Vigo: an architecture for decentralized, disconnection-tolerant clouds that hyperscalers don’t serve.

The team behind it has run global, large-scale enterprise infrastructure; the operational scar tissue is built into the product.

The platform is engineered, operated and supported entirely in the EU.
