Organizations, projects, quotas: isolation by structure

Every team or client is an organization with its own projects, users, groups and roles. Quotas cap what each one can consume, and usage is tracked per tenant, ready for your accounting. Isolation is enforced by the platform, not by convention. What exactly does edgeContinuum do?
It turns infrastructure you already operate into a cloud your teams and clients can serve themselves from. You connect your OpenStack; edgeContinuum then provisions and continuously manages the services on top of it, managed Kubernetes with dedicated or hosted control planes, managed PostgreSQL, virtual machines with catalogs and networking, and an app marketplace you curate. Around all of that it enforces organizations, projects, roles and quotas, and tracks usage per tenant. Your operators keep their existing OpenStack tooling; nothing underneath is forked or replaced.
Do we have to replace our existing infrastructure?
No. The platform builds on the OpenStack you already run, so your hardware, hypervisor, storage and network keep doing the work underneath. What changes is operability: teams work through the console, the API or Terraform, and the platform keeps everything in declarative desired state instead of relying on runbooks.
Who is it for, internal platform teams or service providers?
Both, and the same tenancy model serves them. Enterprises use it to give developers a self-service private cloud with guardrails their platform team defines. Cloud and managed service providers use it to sell managed Kubernetes, databases and VMs on their own infrastructure, giving each client an isolated organization with its own projects, users and quotas, and per-tenant usage figures to feed their own pricing.
How is edgeContinuum priced?
A subscription per resource managed through the platform, so a cluster, a database or a VM is one managed resource. It is not priced per vCPU, core, socket or user, and it does not change with your deployment model, from the SaaS control plane to fully air-gapped on-premises.
Can we run it disconnected or fully air-gapped?
Yes. In the on-premises model the entire platform, control plane included, runs inside your perimeter, down to sites with no internet access. Each site reconciles its desired state locally, so it keeps provisioning and self-healing through a link outage and resyncs when connectivity returns.
